AllSync Hardware and Software Requirements

Hardware

  • Windows PC
  • Minimum of 13 MB free hard disk space
  • Screen resolution: min. 800x600 pixels (96 DPI font size)
  • Keyboard and mouse

Operating System

  • Microsoft Windows 7 (all versions)
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2008 (all versions)
  • Microsoft Windows Vista (all versions)
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2003 (all versions)
  • Microsoft Windows XP (all versions)
  • Microsoft Windows 2000 (all versions)
AllSync also runs on the 64-bit versions of these operating systems.

User Rights

To install AllSync, you must have administrator rights.

Software

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 or higher
  • Option: Packet writing software for CD/DVD/HD/BD burners (e.g. InCD or DLA)
  • Option: FTP software (e.g. NetDrive, WebDrive or SftpDrive)

AllSync supports all local and external storage media that can be accessed via a drive letter or network path. Examples:

File System

AllSync supports all Windows file systems and the file systems of other operating systems providing they comply with Windows naming conventions for files and folders.

Network

If you want to use AllSync to transfer data between computers they have to be connected via a network link. For more information on networks under Windows, see www.windowsnetworking.com.
