Software Recommendations

Here is a list of software tools and utilities which will help you enhance your productivity when working with AllSync.

7-Zip

7-Zip (freeware) enables you to process and unpack ZIP files.

Attribute Changer

Attribute Changer (freeware) enables you to change various file properties: attributes, date, time, NTFS compression, etc.

AutoIt

AutoIt is an automation tool designed for automating the Windows GUI. It enables you to simulate keystrokes, mouse movements and window commands (maximize, minimize, etc.).

cdrtools, CreateCD

cdrtools or CreateCD (freeware) enable you to format a CD-RW or DVD-RW before a copy operation.

Delay

Delay is a substitute for the DOS command 'Pause', extending it with a timeout function.

DevEject

DevEject (freeware) enables you to register USB devices under Windows via the command line.

ExamDiff, WinDiff, FCU

ExamDiff, WinDiff and FCU (freeware) enable you to compare the contents of two files and view their differences. You can integrate these tools in AllSync via the File Comparison option and use them in a copy preview.
